Awesome

Reminds me a lot of the soundtracks that were used in Battle for Dune

axeFX responds:

never played that game... must be scary. :p

amg amg gee

That bass is dirtier than some things BJRA would do

Rig responds:

BJRA would do a lot of things.

I smell preset Smooth Brass :)

I used it myself a lot. Cause it's so easy to control

The beat is pretty creative. It needs to be mastered tho. I think you sliced a beat so its harder to master it well.
I suggest you check on some chord progression tutorials. So you can snap out of the " duuumduuumduuum melody" you got now.

I can hear you will develope, this sounds a lot like my early stuff.

Nope but it is a preset haha its Sytrus but i forget which one. Im pretty sure Cerbera Saw haha

Love the genre ...

... that's why I make it myself a lot :)

The pads are placed nicely after each other, creating that "I wanna lay down to this feeling". It was a good thing to lower volume on synths, so the bass and beat stands out, without losing the typical IDB atmosphere. Kick seems a bit overcompressed and the beat could use some different patterns. Just add in an extra kick and snare here and there.
The bass sounds pretty badass tbh :)

yea, maybe ure right, thanks ;)

Here is a review for you Nick :)

I like the bass and the samples you used. You should filter out some part tho, they sometimes sound a bit blury. I like how you use a lot of variation.

Keep it up, you're improving

rtnario responds:

Thanks! Hope it does get used in a game...somehow :)

Alright starting review

I love how much effort you put into this track. The melody is very nice and I like the choice of instruments.

Only comment I have that the bass sounds a bit plain. I'd choose for a fuller bass. Maybe add in another layer. The drum should be a bit louder imo.

It's up to you do decide if you wanna change it or not.

Rawrthaas responds:

The drum is a loop layered with some hats and a clap. The kick and snare were horribly EQ'd by default, but I still think they sounded best when I was trying to do the drums in the song.. So I had to EQ the crap outta them :P couldn't really get it as loud and punchy as I wanted.

You are getting better at it

The beat is at a right tempo. I like the minimal sound. You used effects to create your Wizkid atmosphere. At some points it sounds a bit blury, so I suggest you look up some mastering tuts.
Not bad for a first DnB attempt really.

Keep up the good work.
